Truck dispatchers manage the transportation of goods by coordinating with drivers, suppliers, and customers. This class will teach you every step of the process
The dispatcher helps manage the load by informing brokers and receivers of any delays in delivery. A good dispatcher also checks weather for the driver in case the driver needs to alter their route.
In some cases there are occasional problems that can occur. Sometimes a dispatcher will have to make arrangments for repairs or help get a load recovered to insure a delivery is made on time
The dispatcher is the liaison between all parties. This course will give you the exact script needed to communicate effectively with brokers, shippers, receivers, and/or drivers.
As a dispatcher it is your job to keep up with thegoing rates of each lane. You will learn where to find and how to negotiate going rates. The better the dispatcher negotiates, the more money the driver, carrier and dispatcher makes.
Transportation doesn't stop after business hours. You may sometimes have to offer additional support after hours to your customers. Whether they have a question about your shipment or need to make a change to your logistics plan, a good dispatcher is always available to assist their clients.

Most dispatchers charge between 7% & 10% of the loads that they book. So with just one truck you have the potential to make between $420- $600 per week.
The more trucks you dispatch and assist your drivers, the more money you make. We have witnessed some dispatchers make upward of $30,000 per month.
